Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are express lanes?
Express lanes are those that allow traffic to flow more smoothly by limiting the places where you can enter and exit them. These lanes have physical barriers from regular travel lanes within a major
roadway. This allows you to get to your destination faster and in less traffic.

2. Where will the I-15 express lanes take me?
The express lanes will travel both directions on I-15 between the Russell Road and Sahara Avenue
exits (about 5.5 miles).

3. Who can use express lanes?
Anyone can use express lanes. If you’ll be traveling between Russell Road and Sahara Avenue
without needing to exit, you can use these lanes.

4. Are these lanes like HOV (High Occupancy Vehicle) lanes?
